Commercial Body Shop Painter . The painter will perform routine and specialized repair and refinishing of hazmat containers and equipment.

Responsibilities
Comply with all health and safety practices, policies, and processes.
Operate forklifts or other industrial vehicles to move components into the workspace.
Sandblast equipment, tape and prep components as needed.
Mix paints as required.
Clean and maintain painting equipment, guns, compressors, and booths.
Degrease, prime components, and finished products.
Paint finished products with an automotive finish.
Maintain a high quality paint standard.
Assemble and disassemble components and parts as needed.
Maintain accurate computer and written documentation and compliance logs.
Coordinate with the parts department for job‑related materials.
Ensure compliance of all painting and sandblasting areas.
Provide inventory and inspection reports to management as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma with career technical education.
Secondary trade school preferred.
3+ years of commercial painting and sandblasting experience.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong communication skills.
Working knowledge of tools of the trade, including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools.
Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical test upon hire.
