Marketing Coordinator Overview We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate supports the execution of marketing and recruiting campaigns across lead generation, events, social media, content, and employer branding. Responsibilities include day-to-day coordination, campaign execution, and keeping projects on track. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing to turn strategy into action.

This is an execution-focused role. The right candidate is organized, takes initiative, communicates proactively, and takes pride in doing the details right. You will be a visible, trusted part of a small team building something meaningful across the entire organization.

You will work closely with the Director of Marketing every day in a collaborative, in-office environment. This is a small team, which means your work is visible and your contribution matters. We move at a steady pace, communicate directly, and genuinely invest in the people on our team. You will not be left to figure things out alone.

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities Lead Generation Support

Execute lead generation campaigns across digital channels as directed

Support campaign setup, tracking, and follow-up coordination

Manage and maintain lead lists with attention to data accuracy

Monitor performance metrics and compile results for review

Event & Promotion Coordination

Coordinate logistics for marketing and recruiting events including trade shows, Lunch and Learns, job fairs, and company events

Manage vendor communication and timelines related to events

Track event leads and candidate engagement post-event

Support on-site execution and day-of coordination as needed

Social Media & Content Execution

Schedule and publish social media content across brand and recruiting channels

Support content creation for marketing and hiring initiatives

Monitor engagement, respond to comments as appropriate, and report performance

Maintain brand and employer brand consistency across all published content

Recruiting & Brand Support

Support recruiting campaigns and job promotion efforts across channels

Coordinate and support internal company events

Create and coordinate employer brand content including culture posts, team highlights, and candidate-facing materials

Help coordinate internal communications tied to culture and employer brand initiatives

Campaign & Project Coordination

Assist with email campaigns and campaign asset organization

Maintain documentation, timelines, and execution details across active projects

Coordinate tasks and follow-ups across teams to keep projects moving

Flag blockers and communicate progress proactively to the Director of Marketing

Tools & Platforms You will work inside several tools on a daily basis. Familiarity with any of the following is a plus; we are willing to train the right person on specifics.

CRM: HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar

Email marketing: HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar

Social media scheduling: Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar

Project management: Asana, Monday, Notion, or similar

Analytics: Google Analytics, platform-native dashboards

Design: Canva, Adobe Express, or similar

Marketing Coordinator Qualifications No degree required. We are looking for demonstrated experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of following through. Equivalent professional experience, internships, freelance work, and self‑directed projects all count. Here is what we are looking for:

1–3 years of experience in marketing, project coordinating or a related field

Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Strong organizational skills and a track record of meeting deadlines

Clear written and verbal communication – you will represent the brand every day

Comfortable working independently, asking good questions, and flagging issues early

A genuine interest in marketing and how companies attract customers and talent

Understanding of lead generation, email campaigns, or digital marketing is a plus

Familiarity with social media platforms from a brand or business perspective

Experience supporting talent acquisition or employer branding initiatives is a plus

Growth & Development This role is designed to grow. We are building a marketing function that does not fully exist yet – which means the person who comes in and does this well will have a meaningful opportunity to grow with it.

In your first year, you will build a strong foundation across campaign execution, events, and social media. As the function matures, there is a clear path toward a marketing manager role for someone who demonstrates ownership and results. Reviews are conducted annually and are tied to clearly defined milestones.
