Beyond the Call Center: As a Customer Service & Operations Specialist, you’ll manage the entire order lifecycle and be a central figure in improving the customer experience and driving operational efficiency. You’ll move beyond simple order entry to participate in value-added projects that lead to overall business improvement and cost savings. Key Responsibilities

Customer & Sales Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries, order processing, and complaint resolution. Accurately process and place customer orders on a timely basis, including managing complex purchase orders. Maintain and update required daily reports and forward essential confirmations (Order Acknowledgements, ASN, and COAs) to customers. Coordinate with accounting for credit form approvals and assist sales personnel with account needs. Maintain accurate and organized customer files. Operational & Logistics Management

Inventory Control: Actively manage and maintain inventory levels for all required inventoried items. Logistics Efficiency: Oversee the drop trailer program, providing recommendations to boost efficiency and reduce costs. Product Coordination: Process new product items, including collecting New Item Checklist (NIC) documentation and coordinating approval meetings. Warehouse Liaison: Coordinate with warehouse supervision to preemptively avoid problems between the warehouse and the customer; develop strong working relationships across all departments. Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: Five years of proven experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Technical Acumen: Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) and modern data management systems. Communication: Ability to write business reports, present to groups, and interpret complex operating manuals or performance reports. Mathematical Skills: Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and calculate figures such as discounts, costs, proportions, and volumes. Problem-Solving: Strong reasoning ability to solve problems where limited standardization exists. Highly Preferred

Specific experience in the Agriculture or Corrugated Container industry. Application knowledge of agricultural production processes.
