The Role We are looking for a hyper-organized and process-driven
Marketing Operations Analyst
to serve as the financial backbone of our marketing department. This is an operational role focused on accuracy and efficiency, acting as the primary bridge between Marketing and Finance to ensure our budget is tracked precisely.
Key Responsibilities
Budget Management & PO Processing
Budget Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular budget pacing, variance reports, and planned vs. actual spend
End-to-End PO Management: Create, submit, and track all Marketing Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Budget Tracking: Maintain real-time master budget trackers; monitor spend against allocated budgets for Events, Digital, Content, etc.
Accruals & Variance Analysis: Identify monthly accruals and flag budget variances promptly
Finance Reconciliation
Month-End Close: Collaborate with Finance during month-end close and resolve discrepancies in the General Ledger
Monthly Forecasting: Meet with budget owners to lock in monthly forecasts and provide data to Finance
Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in procurement or related processes and suggest improvements
Documentation: Maintain operational playbooks and process documentation
What You Bring (Qualifications)
Location: Based in Denver, CO with on-site/hybrid work options
Experience: 2+ years in Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or a Finance-adjacent role
Extreme Attention to Detail: Meticulous with numbers and data integrity
Financial Literacy: Understanding of basic concepts (Opex, accruals, POs, invoicing)
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and procurement software (e.g., Coupa, NetSuite)
Familiarity with reporting tools like Tableau
Communication: Ability to explain budget constraints to marketers and operational details to Finance

Compensation & Benefits Base Hiring Range: $60,000 - $70,000
