Job Description Sauder Manufacturing was founded in 1945 as a church furniture company. We have a rich history in crafting solid wood into beautiful, enduring, quality furniture, blending modern technology with a strong customer focus.
Our internship programs run 10-12 weeks from May to August and provide valuable experiences in our four strategic markets: Healthcare Furniture for acute care hospitals, Education furniture for colleges and universities, Worship furniture for churches, synagogues, courthouses, and human services markets.
Interns will take the lead on projects during the summer and present their results to fellow interns, internship supervisors, and executives at the end of the program.
Experience / Skills / Education
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Software
College sophomore or junior (Fall enrollment)
Strong analytical problem‑solving skills
Organized, focused, and logical
Quick learner who works well in a team
Adaptable and flexible to changing needs and assignments
Self‑motivated with a desire to get things done
Eager to learn
Basic InDesign (INDD) and Photoshop experience preferred
Experience with UPS Shipping Software, SharePoint, InforCRM, WordPress is a plus
