Marketing and Events Officer – Corinda State High School
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Brisbane's leading state high schools with the successful applicant working within the Events and Marketing team at Corinda State High School. As the Marketing and Events Officer you will assist in the development of innovative marketing and communication strategies and the coordination of special events for the school. About the role
As the Marketing and Events Officer you will: Assist with maintaining the school's brand, producing marketing collateral, design templates and handbooks in Canva and Adobe InDesign ensuring all materials adhere to high quality standards and align with the visual identity guide. Compile and distribute the fortnightly parent newsletter, managing the proofing process and promoting its circulation. Manage content and updates for the school's website to ensure information is accurate and up to date. Maintain a proactive and consistent social media and Daymap presence to promote the school and to communicate responsively with the wider community. This includes creating daily content, overseeing permissions and moderating pages. Provide event support to the Marketing Manager for key events, including Graduation, Academic Awards, Open Day and Farm Day. This includes consulting with key internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver creative strategies for these events, as well as on‑ground support. Fulfill internal requests for photography and videography covering regular school events. Generate and monitor content for the school's TV screens as part of the school's communications strategy. Assist in obtaining quotes and purchasing branded marketing collateral in line with government guidelines and departmental policies. Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff and external clients to ensure the success of school marketing and events, and the promotion of the school as a key priority. Manage Marketing email inbox. Co-ordinate the design and delivery of the school yearbook, overseeing the student-led Yearbook Committee and coordinating with third-party printer to meet all deadlines. Key Responsibilities
