Job Description Retail Apparel Merchandiser at Edwin Watts Golf is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy.
Maintain a general awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise, promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements to better serve our customers, while also maintaining flexibility to work in different departments as needed.
Maintain product flow from the store receiving areas and assist with markdown and clearance management per company guidelines.
Assist with the execution of all visual merchandising standards, including signage and displays.
Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from stockroom and take inventory of stock where needed.
Maintain database and file shipping/receiving records for the department.
Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Ability to spend work time standing or moving within the store departments. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting up to 15 pounds, carrying, walking, and reaching on a frequent basis.
Working knowledge of word‑processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
Ability to tag, hang, and sensor merchandise.
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
Qualifications Desired
1+ years of experience working in a retail/apparel environment or golf industry (preferred but not required).
Strong knowledge of apparel and golf (both a plus, but not required).
This is a full‑time position.
