Responsibilities
Assures that all material used by server is clean and ready for daily operation
Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used
Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course
Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including but not limited to: changing tablecloth, brushing chairs, placing chairs at table, replacing silverware and glassware, and replacing napkins
Prepare and set all items needed in the restaurant for the preparation of food delivery
Ensure that all menu items are prepared with exact detail before delivery. Make corrections as needed.
Assists the server when needed
Keeps workstations well stocked of items and ingredients
Clean workstations, take out trash, and vacuum the dining room
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
Regular and reliable attendance
Performs other duties as required
Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job
Working Conditions
Frequently stands, walks and sits
Regularly uses hands, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands, talks and listens
Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, carry trays above the head with plates of food, work indoor/outdoor environment
Frequently works with cleaning supplies and chemicals
Noise level is moderate
Position requires flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
