
Mortgage Loan Documentation Specialist

Description
We’re looking for an experienced professional to prepare closing loan packages for private banking clients, including portfolio and non-conforming mortgage products.

What You'll Do
Prepare and review complex high-value loan transactions including disclosures in compliance with TRID, Reg Z, and other applicable regulations
Partner with loan officers and internal teams to gather required information and move loans efficiently through the process
Review approval documents, title commitments, and other documents to ensure all loan requirements are met
Identify and resolve documentation gaps to ensure smooth closings
Manage multiple loan files simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing accuracy
Work in a collaborative, team-based environment
Gain expertise in loan documentation and regulatory compliance while contributing directly to client success
What We're Looking For
Minimum two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Loan document preparation or mortgage processing prior to closing
Mortgage or real estate title/escrow operations, with direct involvement in preparing loan documents and/or settlement statements
Real estate agent or transaction/contract coordinator experience, with hands-on preparation and management of contracts and/or closing documentation
Active real estate licenses must be placed in an inactive status upon hire
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
Proven customer service experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office applications and loan documentation systems (Experience with LaserPro is preferred)
