Marketing & Fan Experience Intern
Provide support to the Marketing and Fan Experience staff for the Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) to increase revenue generation and attendance while enhancing the fan experience in‑venue. This includes community outreach development; season, single‑game, and group ticket sales initiatives; event management; game presentation; and student/campus engagement.
Responsibilities
Assist the marketing staff in developing and executing assigned marketing and promotional strategies for Olympic sports (volleyball, men’s & women’s tennis, swim & dive, baseball and/or softball).
Assist with the development and execution of marketing and promotional strategies for football, men’s & women’s basketball. Must be available to work all home football games.
Manage in‑game elements for assigned sports, including writing game‑day scripts, in‑game music, in‑game promotions, fan contests, and sponsor activations.
Collaborate with the Creative and Digital Strategy team to develop programming and digital marketing content for use on video boards and other digital platforms.
Construct cross‑promotional efforts with targeted area events, professional teams and attractions, focused on promoting ticketed sports.
Collaborate with on‑campus student organizations, departments, and other community leaders to build campus and community engagement, and increase brand awareness.
Assist with the day‑to‑day management of the internship program and its execution.
Other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate A.D. of Marketing and Fan Experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in marketing, business, communication, or related field.
Marketing, sales, sports management, or related experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
Great work ethic, detail‑oriented, with excellent communication and organization skills.
Self‑starter able to meet a variety of deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work independently and within a team environment.
Enthusiastic demeanor and availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.
