Park & Events Ambassador Responsibilities
Greeting visitors, promoting the park’s recreational activities and events
Provide helpful information on BLT programs, services, games, and special events
Supervise games and engage visitors/tenants by participating when necessary, helping to create an elevated and positive guest experience
Assist in event production, setting up and taking down equipment, tents, speakers, banners, etc.
Maintain a safe and clean recreational environment for all
Ensure events/program equipment and facilities are maintained and operational
Daily opening and closing of game area
Maintain a daily log and write-up of activities and park observation
Responsible for general maintenance of the park and staging area; including sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, assisting service porter (as needed), and maintain Dog stations
Take photos and videos of events and park programs for social media advertising
Assist management team with special assignments as needed
Requirements
Maintain and project a positive image to the public
Ability to effectively communicate with upper management, co-workers, and guests under any circumstance
Candidates must be self-motivated, energetic, and outgoing to maintain excitement with visitors while acting as an ambassador of the park
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Experience in customer service, events, recreation, or urban affairs a plus
Strong people skills and willingness to assist in multiple areasli>
Must be physically fit; able to lift 40 lbs. and work in a public setting
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends(mandatory), holidays (mandatory), and extended hours (if needed) to support all programs and events.
This is a part time and seasonal job. It will require working every other weekend.
Candidate must be dog and child friendly
Minimum Wage position, paying $16.94/hr
