Traveling Retail Superintendent (Ground-Up Exp)
OPC Contracting is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent with ground‑up experience to lead Walmart and big box retail remodel projects. The role requires travel and a leadership style that ensures high‑quality construction and on‑time completion.
Responsibilities As a retail superintendent, you will:
Manage, schedule, and coordinate 5–20 subcontractors on general construction projects
Read blueprints and provide clear progress reports
Monitor construction projects to successful and timely completion
Present recommendations and communicate project status to stakeholders
Use mobile apps and reporting tools for on‑site communication
Qualifications
Extensive technical and practical knowledge as a superintendent
High level of communication, scheduling, problem‑resolution, and leadership skills
Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, organized, supervisory skills
Proficiency with Google Drive, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office (Holobuilder, Wrike a plus)
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Travel required; ability to work day or night shifts
