
Marketing and Outreach Coordinator

The Marketing and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for leading strategic communication and marketing initiatives that elevate the visibility, reputation, and community impact of the Family Health Center. This role develops and executes comprehensive marketing and public relations strategies that promote the organization’s services, strengthen brand identity, and support organizational growth. The position plays a key role in advancing the mission of the Family Health Center through effective storytelling, community engagement, and targeted outreach efforts.
Essential Functions The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support and uphold the Organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values in all communication and marketing activities.
Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic marketing and public relations plans that promote Family Health Center services and strengthen brand recognition.
Lead the creation of compelling marketing materials, including print, digital, video, and social media content, to effectively reach diverse audiences.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational priorities.
Conduct market research, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to expand outreach and enhance community engagement.
Manage the marketing and public relations budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize impact.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, community organizations, and key stakeholders to support outreach and communication efforts.
Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to improve performance and engagement.
Manage the organization’s website, including content development, updates, optimization, and analytics monitoring.
Coordinate and oversee Family Health Center participation in community events, including planning promotional materials and ensuring effective representation.
Attend community events and partner meetings as requested to represent and support the Family Health Center.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work-Related Experience Examples:
Minimum two (2) years of experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field.
Experience in creating and managing marketing across print, digital, and social media platforms.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to travel between community locations and events as needed.
Working Conditions:
Work performed primarily in a clean, well-lit office environment.
Occasional attendance at community events, meetings, and outreach programs, which may involve outdoor activities or varying environmental conditions.
May involve occasional evening or weekend hours to support events or organizational initiatives.
Education, Certification, and Licensure Education:
Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Additional education or training in digital media, healthcare communication, or nonprofit marketing a plus.
