the job as amika's influencer marketing intern, you will be responsible for assisting the influencer team in community growth inclusive of building our influencer, brand ambassador, + stylist communities, relationship building, surprise + delight moments, creator seeding, mailer calendar support, list building, event planning, + more. you will support day-to day responsibilities while working cross-functionally with amika's social, marketing, paid media, creative, operations + accounting teams to ensure all designated assignments are executed + delivered to the relevant team(s).
location brooklyn, ny (onsite 3 days a week. must have the right to live and work in the US)
hourly rate $17 per hour
hours 40 hours per week
duration 6 months
start date May, 26th 2026
what you'll do this is a dynamic, hands-on role offering exposure to all facets of brand marketing - from campaign strategy, sampling initiatives, + community building to event execution and retail support.
assist with influencer discovery and recruitment for campaigns while working to build out amika’s influencer communities
support team with community initiatives inclusive of events, TYB (Try Your Best) challenges + community management, mailers, campaigns, and more
assist with brainstorming, managing and executing mailers, including support with managing design submissions, targeted influencer lists, shipping and tracking results
support the team with execution of campaigns, product launches, surrounding amika’s evergreen + new product focuses
admin support including order fulfillment and tracking, product closet management, Tribe organization, etc.
assist with monthly reporting + campaign creation and tracking via Tribe
compile competitive research of influencer activations, trends and mailers
must haves
currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
genuine enthusiasm for the beauty industry and the global market
thrives in dynamic, high-energy environments that are constantly evolving
proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and contribute
strong written and verbal communication skills
excellent time management and organizational skills
detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
fast learner with strong problem-solving skills
works well in a collaborative setting and is equally effective when working independently
familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
prior experience in influencer marketing a plus
