Position Summary
The Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist plays a key role in delivering a seamless and engaging hiring experience from offer to day one. This position partners closely with the Recruiting team to support hiring events and recruitment strategies while owning the coordination of onboarding logistics, including licensing, gaming requirements and facilitating our New Hire Brand Induction. This role ensures every new team member’s journey starts organized, informed and aligned with our service driven culture. Essential Functions
Recruiting Support: Partner with the Recruiting team to support hiring events, including scheduling, logistics and execution. Recruiting Support: Assist in implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Recruiting Support: Coordinate candidate communication related to hiring events and next steps. Recruiting Support: Help ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Onboarding Coordination: Take ownership of the onboarding process once an offer is extended. Onboarding Coordination: Schedule and coordinate all pre-employment requirements, including licensing and gaming appointments. Onboarding Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for new hires during the pre-hire and onboarding phase. Onboarding Coordination: Ensure all required documentation and steps are completed prior to start date. Brand Induction Management: Schedule all new hires into Brand Induction sessions. Brand Induction Management: Coordinate logistics, rosters, and communication for onboarding classes. Brand Induction Management: Partner with Training and HR teams to ensure a smooth first-day experience. Brand Induction Management: Facilitate Day 1 and Day 2 Brand Induction Training. Brand Induction Management: Track attendance and onboarding completion metrics. Administrative and Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate records related to hiring, licensing, and onboarding. Administrative and Operational Excellence: Track and report on onboarding timelines and completion rates. Administrative and Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Administrative and Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and gaming requirements. Other duties as assigned. Education And /Or Experience Requirements
1-3 years’ of experience in recruiting coordination, HR or onboarding support preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment, including a 24/7 business, holidays, weekends and in a smoky environment. Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, UKG, RedeApp) is a plus. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc)
Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license(s) and all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations. Must successfully pass background check. Must successfully pass drug screening. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. Knowledge Of
Employment & Recruitment life-cycle. Demonstrated knowledge of fair employment laws and FLSA regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, and databases to include excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. All state and federal employment laws including but not limited to ADA and FMLA. Recruiting and interviewing techniques. What Success Looks Like
Hiring events run smoothly and are well-supported. New Hires experience a seamless transition from offer to day 1. Licensing and Gaming appointments are scheduled efficiently and without delays.
