Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Processing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately entering, reviewing, and managing customer orders while ensuring timely processing and coordination with internal departments such as sales, shipping, and production. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced office or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process and enter customer orders into the company’s system accurately and efficiently
Review orders for completeness, pricing, and product availability
Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding order status, changes, or discrepancies
Coordinate with shipping, production, and purchasing departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and related documentation
Resolve order issues, discrepancies, or delays in a timely manner
Provide general administrative support to the sales or operations team as needed
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in order processing, customer service, or administrative support preferred
Strong data entry and computer skills (ERP or order management systems experience is a plus)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
