IT Supplier Manager (IT Vendor Manager) (m/w/d)
For our IT department, we are seeking a qualified IT Supplier Manager (IT Vendor Manager) responsible for the strategic and operational management of IT suppliers.

Your mission
Ensure effective governance and strategic alignment of the IT supplier portfolio
Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and contractual obligations
Drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and supplier-led innovation
Support sourcing and end-to-end supplier lifecycle management
Key responsibilities
Define, maintain, and enforce supplier governance policies, standards, and processes
Manage key supplier relationships, performance (SLAs/KPIs), and escalations
Oversee contracts, renewals, commercial terms, and reporting dashboards
Identify and implement cost savings, process improvements, and value creation initiatives
Support sourcing, RfX activities, and supplier onboarding/offboarding
Provide clear reporting, insights, and recommendations to management
Guide, train, and support stakeholders on supplier management practices
Your profile Required
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field
5+ years of experience in IT supplier management, procurement, or contract management
Strong knowledge of supplier governance, performance management, and contract lifecycle processes
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Very good English skills
Nice to have
Experience with IT procurement or supplier management tools (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua)
Knowledge of ITIL, sourcing strategies, or cost optimization frameworks
German language skills
