Job Description:

GDIT's Federal Health team is hiring a client-facing

Senior Program Analyst

who will provide direct, high-visibility support to the client Front Office (including the Program Executive Director, Chief of Staff, and Senior Advisors), supporting the

Veterans Affairs Electronic Health Modernization

effort.

This position contributes to the efficient execution of complex program activities by tracking project status, monitoring actions, preparing executive-level materials, and coordinating key communications. The role requires exceptional organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.

The Senior Program Analyst ensures leadership has the information, documentation, and insights required to make timely decisions that advance program objectives. This role involves coordinating across multiple program teams, maintaining structured documentation repositories, and ensuring that all materials produced are accurate, polished, and executive-ready.

This role is hybrid with 3 days onsite in Washington, DC.

Work visa sponsorship will not be considered for this role.

How You Will Make An Impact

Support Executive VA leadership with executive-level materials, such as summaries, issue reports, decisions, placemats, and briefing documents.

Brief executive-level materials prepared in pre-meetings and, as requested, executive-level meetings.

Manage sensitive and confidential actions in alignment with VA policies and procedures.

Track project status and coordinate updates across program teams.

Prepare, route, and track correspondence and taskers; ensure timely completion and follow-through.

Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, read-ahead materials, and follow-up actions.

Research and collect data, documents, and references to support senior-level decision-making.

Ensure all written materials are accurate, well-structured, and tailored for senior executive consumption.

Maintain organized, reliable documentation repositories that support transparency and auditability.

Track actions through completion, ensuring accountability and visibility for Executive VA leadership.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressive project or program management experience

3+ years of progressive experience in preparing executive-level briefing materials, executive communications, and project task management

Experience building strong, trust‑based relationships with senior stakeholders

Proven organizational and coordination skills to support Senior Executive Service (SES) staff

Experience preparing executive-level materials and correspondence

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Ability to manage sensitive information responsibly

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience supporting government Front Office, senior leadership, or executive-level operations

Familiarity with enterprise healthcare, federal programs, or technical program environments

The likely salary range for this position is $104,550 – $141,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
