Business Development Manager – Quality Services (PLS)
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a leading provider of manufacturing quality services, is seeking a
Business Development Manager
to join their growing team! This is a
remote, field-based role with extensive travel , offering strong earning potential through a
base salary plus uncapped commission , along with full benefits and long-term career growth.
Business Development Manager Job Summary Compensation:
Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
Location:
Remote / Field-Based (90% Travel)
Responsibilities
Spend the majority of time in the field meeting prospective customers and building new relationships within manufacturing environments
Identify and secure new business opportunities with manufacturing companies and automotive suppliers
Develop and maintain relationships with plant managers, quality managers, and operational leadership
Conduct plant visits and production floor walk-throughs to understand customer needs
Present and sell quality service solutions that improve manufacturing operations and product quality
Maintain and grow existing accounts through consistent relationship management
Manage sales pipeline, prospecting activity, and follow-ups to drive new revenue
Collaborate with internal operations teams to deliver customized service solutions
Represent the company professionally in meetings, presentations, and customer engagements
Business Development Manager Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Minimum 3 years of business development, outside sales, or field sales experience
Proven success with new business development and account acquisition
Experience working with manufacturing or industrial customers
Background in quality, manufacturing, automotive, or technical services is preferred
Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, networking, and relationship building
Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel 90%+ of the time
