LBBC is hiring a Manager, Digital Community Engagement, who will play a key rolein shaping, growing, and sustaining LBBC’s digital community. This roleis responsible forstewardingLBBC’s online community platformhosted on Mighty Pro(Flourish),while also leading broader digital community engagementand social listeningefforts across LBBC’s digital channels. The ideal candidate is an experienced digital community professional who understands not only how platforms function, but how trust, participation, and connection are built over time. This individual will bring both strategic thinking and hands-on engagement to ensure thatour digital community is a meaningful extension of LBBC’s mission and an integrated part of LBBC’s programs, outreach, and communications. LBBC is headquartered just outside Philadelphia in Bala Cynwyd, PA. This position will be mostly remote with occasional office meetings. Preference in hiring will be given to candidates who live within the Greater Philadelphia region. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop, implement, and evolve LBBC’s digital community engagement strategy across platforms, with Flourish as the primary hub for connection and engagement. Identify target audiences and tailor messaging accordingly Plan editorial calendars across platforms (social, web, email) Audience Engagement and Community Management Monitor trending topics andnew ideasacross various social media platforms, including but not limited to Flourish, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, and other breast cancer digital communities. Activelymoderate andengage in community discussions, share relevant and trusted content, and foster a community environment that is welcoming, supportive, respectful, and inclusive. Manage,integrate,and aligncommunity engagement efforts across LBBC’s broader digital presence, ensuring Flourish and other community spaces are welcoming, trusted, and accessible. Content Distribution & Campaign Execution Collaborate withEducational Programs, Special Events, and Outreach teams to connectin-person experienceswithongoing digitalcommunities,as well as translating online community connections to in-person meet-ups. Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Flourish and Mighty Pro, including monitoring platform features, updates, and capabilities and advising on how they can support engagement, learning, and inclusion. Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) plus 3 years’ experience moderating large, diverseonline communities;cancer or other healthcare-relatedcommunitiespreferred. Creativity and a proactive approach to addressing moderation issues and developing engagement opportunities Excellentcommunication,collaboration,and time management skills ProficiencyinMighty Networks preferred Experience withcommunity engagement onplatforms like Facebook, Instagram, Reddit,and TikTok Familiarity withSprout Sociala plus Successful candidates need a willingness to learn and approach problems with a fresh perspective. The salary range begins at $65,000 per year.
