PROOF OF US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED Responsibilities
Must be a US Citizen Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) with demonstrated experience with computer aided Use drafting applications to originate and produce drawings with minimum supervision 3D modeling experience required (S3D preferred) Read, interpret and generate design drawings with minimal input from a member of the engineering staff. Must have the ability to walk down field systems with minimal guidance, interpret field direction, generate minor design details, create new drawings, modify existing drawings, and direct junior drafters Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen Must have a minimum of an associate degree in a field related to the position and a minimum of ten (10) years progressive experience in drafting related to Engineering and Construction (nuclear preferred) Must have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to specialized (nuclear or other areas) engineering design Background and experience must include drafting / designer experience in engineering fields, such as electrical, mechanical, structural, communications, architectural, fire protection, or civil Development of HVAC load calculations Development of HVAC air flow diagrams and instrument diagrams Development of HVAC system sequence of operation narratives Sizing and specification of air handling units and other equipment HVAC main duct and distribution duct sizing and routing Development of black utility (chiller, boiler, custom Air Handling Unit (AHU), air compressor and cooling tower) specifications based upon sizing data provided by Process Development of HVAC specifications Benefits
