ROLE DESCRIPTION We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist who lives and breathes social—always on top of trends and able to create scroll-stopping, social-first content. This role blends creativity and analytics: you’ll track performance, optimize strategy, and work closely with the creative team to bring campaigns to life, while building community and driving partnerships. You don’t just make content—you translate our brand identity into social, shaping a consistent voice and presence. If you’re a strong editor, trend-driven, and a team player passionate about building brands through social, this role is for you.

Portfolio is not required, but highly recommended.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Social Media Strategy

Help marketing director to develop and execute organic social media strategies, leveraging trends to keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging

Drive growth through campaigns, partnerships, and collaborations while continuously optimizing based on trends and performance

Community Engagement

Manage day-to-day social media accounts, engaging with DMs, comments, and tagged content to build and support the community

Track and log brand mentions across platforms, identifying superfans, creators, and niche communities for engagement and amplification

Content Execution

Collaborate cross-functionally, especially with the creative team, to develop and execute social-first content aligned with brand voice across campaigns, events, and partnerships

Plan and manage the posting calendar and caption copy to ensure consistent, timely, and on-brand execution across platforms

Shoot, edit, and produce social content across platforms, tailored to each brand’s voice and goals

Partnership

Build and manage influencer and brand collaborations end-to-end—from outreach to execution and performance tracking—while integrating collaborations seamlessly into overall social strategy

Analytics

Track and analyze social media performance, delivering insights and reports to optimize strategy, engagement, and growth

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably within a DTC consumer product or lifestyle brand

Strong creative eye with knowledge of visual storytelling, composition, color, and brand aesthetics

Proven experience creating high-performing short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok

Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach

Working experience in marketing agency preferred

Strong understanding of cannabis culture and smoking devices is preferred
