
Customer Service Sales Representative

As a Customer Sales Representative, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities. This role blends relationship management and customer service with outbound sales and business development.
Responsibilities Customer Relationship Management
Serve as the main liaison for existing accounts, maintaining regular contact via phone, email, and in-person meetings
Handle inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
Process sales orders, returns, and credits; support logistics for accurate and timely fulfillment
Review order terms including pricing, quality clauses, and delivery timelines
Track shipments and order statuses using ERP and CRM systems
Gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Accounting) to improve the customer experience
Sales & Business Development
Prepare and present quotations and proposals using established pricing guidelines
Identify and qualify leads; follow up on open quotations to close deals
Attend industry events and conduct onsite client visits to promote products and services
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to customer base growth
Maintain accurate customer records, reports, and documentation
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to align on customer requirements
Manage customer portals for order entry, RFQs, and updates
Partner with Accounting on collections and Pro Forma invoices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
2+ years in customer service, inside/outside sales, or sales support — aerospace or technical manufacturing experience is a plus
Strong communication, relationship-building, and active listening skills
Experience with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, JD Edwards)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and technical customers
Track record of exceeding quotas and customer satisfaction KPIs
