Senior Account Manager, Business Insurance As a Senior Account Manager in the Business Insurance Commercial Lines team, you will utilize your client servicing skills to maintain and expand client relationships within your assigned book of accounts. You will provide professional insurance services by coordinating with Producers, Underwriters, Service Team members and other departments. Responsibilities include coverage analysis and risk‑management recommendations, completing applications, preparing submissions, negotiating coverage and pricing with carriers, preparing proposals, resolving billing issues, making policy changes, responding to coverage questions, preparing exposure comparisons, premium comparisons, renewal reviews and renewal proposals.

All Senior Account Managers are expected to participate in continuing education to maintain a P&C license, stay current with all regulations and enhance insurance knowledge.

Responsibilities

Maintain and expand client relationships within assigned accounts.

Coordinate with Producers, Underwriters, Service Team members and other departments to deliver insurance services.

Provide coverage analysis and risk‑management recommendations.

Complete applications and prepare insurance submissions.

Negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers and prepare proposals.

Resolve billing issues and make policy changes.

Respond to coverage questions in a timely, professional manner.

Prepare exposure comparisons, premium comparisons, renewal reviews and renewal proposals.

Provide leadership and mentoring to colleagues within the team.

Qualifications

Active Property & Casualty license.

5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience, with at least 3 years focused on Property and Casualty, preferably within a brokerage agency.

Experience managing assigned accounts through the entire client life cycle, including renewal processes.

Solid coverage, underwriting and risk‑management knowledge.

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor others.

Effective oral and written communication and relationship‑building skills.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to prepare and facilitate presentations, and to speak to colleagues and clients at all levels.

High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and agency management systems.

Exceptional time‑management, organization and multi‑priority management skills.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or related field.

Insurance designations.

Experience with Epic.

Salary & Incentives The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400. Salary will be determined based on experience, skills, training, location, certifications and education. The position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
