Associate Designer – Streetwear
As an Associate Designer, you will work closely with the design and production teams to support the development of our seasonal collections. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from trend research to design, contributing to the overall success of our design process. We are particularly interested in designers with a style oriented towards graphic street design, including those who focus on men’s and young men's fashion.
Responsibilities
Shopping and Trend Research: Stay updated on fashion trends and conduct market research to inform design decisions. Sketching: Create detailed sketches and illustrations using Adobe Illustrator. BOM & Tech pack Creation: Develop comprehensive technical packages, including BOMs, hardware, and trim details. Seasonal CADs Creation: Generate digital CADs (Computer-Aided Designs) for seasonal collections. Production Tech Pack Updates: Ensure accuracy and consistency in production tech packs. CAD Editing: Adjust and refine CAD sheets and Illustrator files as needed. Tech Pack Adaptation: Modify and adapt existing tech packs to meet specific project requirements. Pantone Color Selection: Select and coordinate Pantone colors for designs. Sketch Updates: Incorporate feedback from buyers and tech teams to update and refine sketches. Artwork Recoloring: Recolor artwork for CAD presentations and other design purposes on an as needed basis. Fitting Attendance on an ad hoc basis: Attend the fitting process to grow your current skillset. While you will not be held accountable for the accuracy or the quality of the fit, these fittings are a great learning opportunity and are an imperative skill to have as a designer. CAD Updates per Customer Requests: Make design adjustments based on customer requests and purchases. VSR Data Entry – Style Setup: Establish and configure styles, including prints, fabrics, colors/prints, and body variations. Enter fabric codes, color codes, NRF codes, and fabric content into the Visual Merchandising System (VSR). Presentation Creation: Develop PowerPoint presentations for buyers as well as internal and factory use, showcasing design concepts and details. Experience
