Who You Are Geotab is seeking a Marketplace Channel Sales Manager who will own sales and leads to top partners within Geotab’s Marketplace platform. If you love technology and want to join an industry leader, we would love to hear from you.

What You'll Do As the Marketplace Channel Sales Manager, you will serve as the primary lead for your assigned channel, driving sales and revenue growth through robust processes, accountability, and relationship management. You will play a vital role in the Marketplace’s success by actively engaging in sales opportunities to monitor status, resolve delays, and provide value to ensure deal closure. A major focus is increasing visibility for Marketplace partners across the Geotab ecosystem. To enable partner success, you will build a strong pipeline using reseller introductions, customer webinars, lead engagement campaigns, and internal networking. You should be a results‑oriented leader with strong negotiation and influencing skills, thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

How You'll Make An Impact

Manage each assigned partner in the Reseller network.

Ensure each partner achieves sales revenue targets.

Develop an annual business plan with the partner and own delivery of quarterly business reviews (QBR).

Proactively identify and recommend improved integrations.

Own and nurture relationships with each level of partners in the assigned channel.

Work with leaders to create target metrics and measurable sales goals related to assigned partners.

Master knowledge within the Geotab Reseller ecosystem and telementics industry trends to guide resellers.

Communicate the value of using Marketplace to resellers and ensure adoption.

Advise on solutions that optimally meet end‑user requirements (e.g., support resellers on customer calls).

Act as the SME and internal/external Geotab point of contact for each partner.

Ensure post‑launch strategy with resellers is successfully delivered.

Collaborate with partners to develop and improve training and marketing materials.

Use CRM tools (Salesforce) to log leads and track the sales process, QBRs, and other partner items.

Support Geotab global strategic initiatives and publicly represent the organization.

Uncover potential business issues and communicate impacts to stakeholders.

Own the sales cycle from start to finish on all assigned Marketplace leads, opportunities, pilots, and RFPs.

Create a sales pipeline with the partner by working through multiple sales processes.

What You'll Bring To The Role

5‑7 years of technical sales experience.

Will willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Understanding of channel dynamics, partner ecosystems, and market trends in transportation, telematics, or fleet management.

Deep product knowledge and ability to articulate value propositions tailored to audiences.

Market analysis skills and ability to identify opportunities for channel expansion.

Familiarity with sales and marketing strategies, lead generation, and promotional activities.

Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics tools.

Strong relationship‑building skills and cross‑functional collaboration.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting and training.

Strategic thinking aligned with business objectives.

Problem‑solving skills and a data‑driven decision‑making mindset.

Project management skills to prioritize tasks and manage timelines.

How We Work Geotab employs a flexible hybrid working model, supporting both in‑person and virtual work. Employees are encouraged to work from our offices as desired. When working from home, a reliable internet connection of at least 50 mbps download/10 mbps upload is required.
