Sales Development Representative - Advance Partners

Overview Sales Development Representative at Paychex, responsible for targeted prospecting and generating sales opportunities for sales partners.

Responsibilities

Generate appointments for sales representatives through daily outbound targeted telephone sales.

Generate appointments through marketing or other competitive list reach outs using technology and enrichment platforms.

Partner with selling and service representatives to educate them on Advance Partners & Alterna product offerings.

Articulate competitive advantages by highlighting our differentiators and overall value proposition to prospects and partners.

Effectively manage open opportunities and maintain data updates within the CRM to ensure an effective pipeline is nurtured and followed up.

Coordinate with Advance Partners, a Paychex-backed financial services firm, providing staffing agencies with payroll funding, invoice factoring, back office support, and strategic services.

Travel to trade shows 1-3 times per year as needed.

Collaborate with partners within the specified local offices; after training work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Employment Restrictions Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Paychex does not sponsor employment visas. Candidates may not be located in California. This position is available for US-based applicants only. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, approx. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ET (hours may vary by time zone).

Qualifications

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.

Required: High School Diploma.

One year of experience in lead generation or a blend of sales experience and business coursework.

Ability to travel to trade shows 1-3 times per year.

Compensation Base pay: approx. $20.00 – $25.00 per hour depending on experience and location.
