Account Manager – Purple Wave
We are looking for an Account Manager who excels at building long‑term relationships with customers while identifying and solving their challenges before they become problems.
Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships through routine collaboration and communication.
Understand customer needs and objectives, proactively addressing concerns.
Act as the secondary point of contact for all customer inquiries, requests, and escalations.
Respond promptly to customer emails, inquiries, or concerns.
Participate in customer open houses and industry trade shows as required.
Account Management
Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business within the industry.
Conduct routine account reviews to assess satisfaction and identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to align customer goals.
Identify opportunities for process efficiencies.
Maintain the Company Dashboard, accounts, and opportunities.
Strategic Planning
Develop account plans to maximize value for both customer and company.
Work with Territory Managers and District Directors to set clear, measurable goals.
Anticipate future customer needs and develop solutions proactively.
Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to generate leads within assigned territories.
Problem‑Solving
Provide expert guidance and support to help customers overcome challenges.
Resolve issues or conflicts quickly, working closely with internal teams.
Assess situations, confer with stakeholders, and communicate accurately to customers or managers.
Reporting and Analysis
Track and analyze key account metrics such as revenue growth, efficiencies, and satisfaction.
Implement ongoing account reviews to identify and address improvement areas.Use data‑driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
Research gaps and potential growth opportunities for Territory Managers.
Undertake additional assigned duties as requested.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
2–4 years of experience in account management, customer relations, or sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers at all levels.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills managing multiple accounts.
Analytical mindset to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strategic thinker with proactive problem‑solving.
Team player with collaborative attitude.
Familiarity with CRM software and related tools is a plus.
Ability to make quick, effective decisions.

Working Settings
Full‑time salaried, exempt; not eligible for overtime.
Office hours 8 am–5 pm, Monday‑Friday; additional hours may be required.
Remote work eligible within the United States, with mandatory in‑person training the first week.
Potential 20–30 % travel as needed.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer work.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must access varied departments of a given location.
Compensation
Competitive annual salary between $70,000 and $80,000, paid bi‑weekly.
Monthly bonus program based on company revenue (example payout details).
Company‑provided cell phone and computer equipment.
Health, dental, and vision benefits starting the first month after start date.
401(k) plan with employer match up to 4 % starting first day of employment.
