
Field Service Representative

This is a service-oriented role focused on retaining large customers through preventative maintenance, chemical wet testing, and ongoing upgrade and service work on existing and new chemical feed and monitoring systems.
This position is for power plants, including nuclear plants, requiring safe, error-free work and consistent adherence to site-specific safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
Previous experience in nuclear, power generation, HVAC, chemical feed systems, electrical work, and maintenance is preferred. The role covers a large geography with roughly 10‑20% overnight travel. Predominantly the greater Chicagoland area; 2‑3 days a week in Rockford, IL and the other days in Eastern IA, Southern WI, and Northern IL.

How You'll Make an Impact
Deliver expert service and support for cooling, boiler, and waste‑water systems.
Provide technical support and elevate complex challenges as needed.
Build strong relationships with customers and promote best practices.
Ensure full compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Execute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accounts.
Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed‑upon customer system assurance plans.
Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer accounts.
Manage a territory covering a 150‑mile radius in Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, and Eastern Iowa.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years of experience in water treatment or an industrial/mechanical environment.
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
No immigration sponsorship available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree or trade‑school certification.
Mechanical aptitude.
Experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industry.
Familiarity with boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to drive a company vehicle; pre‑employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility.
Physical Requirements
Lifting up to 50 pounds.
Exposure to hot, cold, noisy or dirty environments.
Stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, balance, walk, stand, climb.

Compensation Range The pay range for this position is $55,200 – $95,400. Compensation considers experience, education, training, geography, etc. The company complies with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
