Job Overview
A Designer at Colle McVoy is responsible for creating and executing effective, innovative ideas for our clients, across all mediums. This includes ideation, concepts, and layout design for all integrated brand identity elements and detailed experiences. A Designer at Colle McVoy must thrive in an energetic environment with like‑minded peers and excel at building internal relationships across departments.
Responsibilities
Develop concepts and collaborate with copywriters and other creatives to produce standout work
Assist with monitoring all assigned projects and follow through on all phases of production
Present work to internal teams and clients
Push past good ideas to discover great ones
Possess a solid foundation of design and typographic skills, applicable to an indie band poster or a corporate annual report
Present ideas clearly and with conviction to sell them internally and externally
Required Skills
Possess a variety of design skills, including an understanding of printing processes, photography, illustration, and typography
Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite of applications, primarily Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Highly organized and proactive in managing priorities, timelines, and deliverables
Experience with SketchUp or desire to learn
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or ad school credentials or equivalent industry experience
Two or more years of agency or relevant experience
Ability to travel as needed
At the time of posting, the base salary for this position ranges from $52,000 to $70,000. Compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
