What You'll Do We're looking for a Strategic Portfolio Manager to join our enterprise IT management area leading the Architecture & Enablement portfolio. In this role, you'll partner with portfolio leaders, IT teams, and enterprise stakeholders to influence and ensure the Architecture & Enablement portfolio is in alignment with enterprise strategy. This includes setting clear priorities, managing dependencies, and lead effective trade‑off decisions to optimize business outcomes within resource constraints.

You'll also partner with business and technology stakeholders to support

Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)

processes, including

exploring opportunities to leverage AI capabilities

to enhance portfolio insights, prioritization, and decision‑making.

You'll serve as a trusted collaborator and advisor to the portfolio leadership team, share, communicate and promote the portfolio vision to ensure visibility of products/services across the enterprise, foster change leadership consensus to continuously improve portfolio management outcomes, and leverage effective portfolio management tools and techniques which complement the operating model.

You'll have a focus on:

Execution of Strategy - Ensure alignment of the Architecture & Enablement portfolio to Business and Enterprise strategic priorities and objectives and the achievement of strategic outcomes. Enhance the use of data and analytics to influence decision making towards building the right things. Partner with portfolio stakeholders to deliver results that advance strategic outcomes.

Communication & Transparency - Lead and proactively communicate results, progress, risks, roadblocks, financial aspects, and data to teams, sponsors and stakeholders ensuring collaboration, decision making, and direction.

Motivate Change – Lead continuous improvement, partnering with leaders, coaches, and team members to develop discovery and innovation, improve delivery speed, increase transparency, and achieve strategic outcomes. Advocate, influence, and lead change to become a more high‑performing organization with an innovative culture.

Organizational Management - Effectively drive the portfolio to execute on customer needs and business objectives through organizing, communicating transparently, aligning and collaborating, and handling dependency and risk. Work across teams and vendors to remove impediments and ensure decision making leverages data where possible.

Who You Are

8+ years demonstrating progressive responsibility for strategic integration, stakeholder alignment, complex decision making, analysis, and informal leadership or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, military experience, or education.

4+ of those years listed above, having direct responsibility for management of complex, cross‑functional initiatives.

Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, facilitation, planning, and decision‑making skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships and facilitate collaboration and communication, including being perceived as a leader at all levels without formal authority.

Results oriented and able to adapt and deal with ambiguous situations and manage expectations.

Ability to influence effectively in matrix management environment.

Strong business insight and an understanding of the capabilities of information technology and applications to find opportunities for improvement.

Experience assessing organizational culture and operating model needs; and appropriately adapt to deliver required results.

Experience/understanding of IT and Data & Analytics domains preferred.

Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non‑sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non‑Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $127,000 - $152,000 / year

Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short‑term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments This role offers in‑office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, Charlotte, NC, and Raleigh, NC). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
