(Remote) Business Development Representative

The Role This is a

full-cycle sales role

for someone who lives to close deals and isn’t afraid of a camera. You’ll own the entire pipeline — from prospecting and outreach through demo, follow-up, and signed contract. You’ll also be a visible face of the CloutBurst brand, creating short-form video content, Loom walkthroughs, and social media posts that generate inbound interest and keep prospects warm between touchpoints.

If you’re the type who rolls your eyes at video prospecting or needs to “think about” going on camera, this isn’t the role for you. If you’re the type who records a crisp 90‑second Loom at 7am, posts a punchy LinkedIn video before lunch, and closes two demos by EOD — keep reading.

What You’ll Do Sales (Your Primary Metric)

Run the full sales cycle: outbound prospecting, cold email sequences, discovery calls, product demos, objection handling, and contract close

Own a quota. Your comp is built around hitting it

Work a defined book of target verticals — dental practices and home services — and become a category expert

Maintain a clean CRM, accurate pipeline, and honest forecasting

Identify patterns in objections and relay them to leadership with proposed solutions, not just problems

On-Camera & Content (Non-Negotiable)

Record personalized Loom videos for high‑value prospects as part of your outreach sequences

Appear on Zoom demos with confidence, polish, and the ability to run a tight 30‑minute discovery/demo without a script

Create short‑form video content for CloutBurst’s LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok — think “a day in the life,” product tips, and social proof reels

Be willing to be featured in case study videos, testimonial content, and brand campaigns

Collaborate with leadership on video strategy for the sales process

What We’re Looking For

1–2 years of documented, verifiable closing success

in B2B SaaS or a closely adjacent field — we will ask for pipeline data, close rates, and references

Demonstrable comfort on camera — include a Loom or video link in your application or don’t apply

Experience selling to SMB owners, practice managers, or franchise operators is a significant plus

Familiarity with tools like HubSpot or similar CRM, Instantly or Apollo for sequencing, and Loom

Self‑directed and organized — this is a remote role and you will be trusted to manage your own time

High standards for your own presentation: how you communicate in writing, how you sound on a call, and how you look on video all matter here

Genuine curiosity about the home services and dental industries

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $125,000

On-Target Commission: $100,000

(uncapped — top performers will exceed this)

OTE: $225,000
