About The Role As an Education Director, you will:
Ensure consistent implementation of a developmentally appropriate, child-centered curriculum aligned with state standards and best practices
Train and onboard teachers in the Vivvi Learning Model and instructional expectations
Provide coaching, mentorship, and regular performance feedback to faculty
Partner with Mentor Teachers and leadership to ensure curriculum fidelity across classrooms
Support family engagement through communication, conferences, and school events
Assist in maintaining compliance with state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and quality initiatives
Promote an inclusive and collaborative school culture
Step in as an operational leader in Head of School’s absence

Have 2+ years of experience in a leadership or instructional coaching role
Hold a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in ECE or related field or eligible to meet state qualifications for a lead teacher or higher (CDA or equivalent)
Meet or are eligible to meet AL requirements for a leadership role in a licensed child care program
Have strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and early learning standards
Are experienced in coaching teachers and supporting curriculum implementation
Understand licensing requirements and classroom compliance expectations
Build strong relationships with families and staff
Have strong leadership and communication skills

Location and Eligibility To be considered, applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to Huntsville, Alabama. Candidates must also possess independent U.S. work authorization.
Physical Demands Physical demands of this position include but are not limited to sitting and standing for extended periods, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, and frequently moving or lifting children weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
