Our client is a fast-growing insurance brokerage providing accessible insurance solutions to underserved communities. Operating across multiple locations, the business runs in a high-volume environment and has ambitious growth plans. The Sales Manager will be required to improve broker productivity, implement dashboards and accountability frameworks, standardise systems and workflows, and prepare the business to scale to significantly higher policy volumes. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will lead a team of brokers, customer service professionals, and managers while strengthening operational consistency across multiple offices.

You’ll be responsible for
Driving broker productivity through clear performance standards including production targets and revenue expectations
Implementing dashboards, scorecards, and KPI tracking using CRM or agency management systems
Leading hiring, coaching, and performance management of revenue generating teams
Establishing consistent processes across offices including quoting, onboarding, compliance, and service standards
Protecting margins while increasing policy volume
Working closely with the Founder to reduce day to day operational involvement through stronger systems and leadership structures
You’ll need
10+ years’ experience in an insurance brokerage or similar high‑volume B2C sales environment
Experience managing revenue‑generating professionals such as brokers, loan officers, recruiters, or sales consultants
Strong operational leadership with P&L accountability and productivity improvement
Experience implementing systems, dashboards, and CRM platforms
Ability to standardise workflows and performance frameworks across locations
A disciplined, performance‑driven leadership style with strong decision making and fair team management
Location This role is based across multiple brokerage offices in Salinas, California. Weekend availability and operational oversight outside standard hours may be required due to the high‑volume service environment.
