Institutional Sales Associate — Alternative Investments Platform (Fynnexa)
Location: New York (Preferred) | Hybrid
Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 base + commission + equity upside

The Role We are seeking a highly motivated
Institutional Sales Associate
to help drive adoption of the Fynnexa platform among:
Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs)
Alternative asset managers (private equity, credit, real assets)
Institutional and high-net-worth investors
This role is ideal for candidates with
2–3 years of experience in institutional sales, capital markets, or alternative investments , particularly those with exposure to firms such as Apollo, Blackstone, KKR, or similar platforms.
You will play a key role in
building relationships, onboarding clients, and driving revenue growth
in a fast-scaling fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Source and close new business
with RIAs, fund managers, and investor networks
Educate clients on Fynnexa’s platform, including: access to alternative investments; portfolio diversification opportunities; secondary market liquidity solutions
Develop and manage a
pipeline of institutional relationships
Partner with internal leadership to refine
go‑to‑market strategy
Navigate regulatory and operational considerations in private markets distribution
Represent Fynnexa at
industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Collaborate cross‑functionally with product and operations to improve onboarding and user experience
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
2–3 years of experience in: institutional sales; capital markets; private wealth / RIA distribution; alternative investments
Preferable, but not required, prior experience at firms such as
Apollo, Blackstone, KKR , or similar
Strong understanding of: private markets (PE, credit, real estate, infrastructure) and investor allocation strategies
Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills
Highly entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to operate in a fast‑paced environment
Licensing & Regulatory
Currently licensed (Series 7, 63/65/66)
or willingness to obtain
Comfortable operating within a
broker‑dealer or regulated distribution framework
Compensation & Incentives
Base Salary:
$90,000 – $110,000
Commission:
11% of Annual Contract Value (ACV)
Equity / Stock Bonuses:
Performance-based, tied to quota attainment
Significant upside tied directly to platform growth and revenue generation
