Commercial Electrician

Inland Construction and Engineering Inc. is urgently seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to support our growing portfolio of commercial, industrial, and federal projects. The ideal candidate will bring at least 4 years of experience in commercial electrical services and possess the initiative to take ownership of their work while adapting to our company's systems. Responsibilities include performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across commercial and federal project sites. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics. Troubleshoot electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for repair. Install and connect wiring, outlets, fixtures, control systems, and circuit breakers in accordance with local and national electrical codes. Inspect electrical components using testing devices to ensure compliance and safety. Work in and around vessels, marinas, docks, piers, and other water-adjacent environments, adhering to specialized safety and electrical protocols. Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other trades to coordinate jobsite tasks and timelines. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site. Uphold company safety protocols and industry standards on every task. Provide input on installation approaches and workflow improvements. Mentor apprentices or less-experienced crew members as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years' experience in commercial electrical services, marine or dockside electrical experience preferred. Journeyman-level electrical expertise (no state license required). Familiarity with electrical work in marine environments, including vessels, docks, and boat-related systems. Strong understanding of local and national electrical codes. Ability to read blueprints and follow technical diagrams. Experience working in fast-paced, high-demand construction environments. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality craftsmanship.
