Obagi is seeking a consistent and driven high performer with proven leadership and coaching skills to join our sales organization, supporting and managing the sales activity of our field team in their respective territory. The Regional Manager will lead a team in establishing, promoting, and maintaining a high level of sales of Obagi products. The role requires enthusiasm, strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to work in the field with representatives, while maintaining all administrative functions and responsibilities. What You’ll Do
Coach, lead, and manage a team of 5-8 field sales representatives to ensure sales goals are met and all activities are managed accordingly. Meet company deliverables including, but not limited to the following KPIs: increasing SKU-penetration, order frequency/size, OPP participation, growing top 20 SKUs, exploring new business avenues and meeting goals for Medical Device Sales. Create and implement strategic and creative business plans to help meet and exceed Regional, Area, and Company sales goals and objectives. Uphold all company compliance policies and procedures for self and respective region. Participate in hiring new sales representatives within your respective region, including networking, interviewing, onboarding, and training. Attend National and/or Regional Aesthetic Conventions and Trade Shows. Evaluate the activities and effectiveness of sales representatives on a consistent basis; recognize success, identify areas for improvement, and follow up on progress related to meeting/exceeding KPIs. Train sales reps on bill and buy, direct selling techniques, and creative market strategies to expand product demand. Develop and coordinate physician-training programs, practice enhancement in-services and open houses. What You’ll Need
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required; a focus in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Life Sciences is highly preferred. Direct B2B sales experience; dermatological, skin care, specialty pharmaceutical, aesthetic sales and management experience is strongly preferred. At least 5+ years of direct supervisory experience, managing high performing field teams. Documented and consistent high-level performance with sales and related competencies. Available to travel up to 60% of the time (including overnight as needed) – covering OK, TX, MO, LS, MS, and AR. Exceptional negotiation skills with an outgoing personality that exudes confidence and fosters trust in networking relationships. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly. Ability to build relationships with local providers: Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists, Medical Spas and other cosmetic practices. Ability to develop and implement effective territory business plans and to develop new business through prospecting and cold calling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technologies. Energetic, positive attitude that encourages a team and supports growth and professional development of others. How You’ll be Measured
