Director of Corporate Accounting & System Transformation
Now recruiting on behalf of an Atlanta-based company undergoing transformation as it is growing (organically and through acquisition) and preparing for a future IPO. We are seeking a Director of Corporate Accounting & Transformation to lead global accounting operations while driving the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this Director of Corporate Accounting & Transformation will oversee global accounting (General ledger, month end close, reporting) and serve as the SAP Finance owner-bridging current systems to a future-state S/4HANA environment. Key responsibilities include:
Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.)
Manage global accounting operations, close process, and financial reporting
Ensure US GAAP compliance, SOX readiness, and IPO preparation
Drive automation, process improvements, and financial systems optimization
Partner cross-functionally and lead a high-performing team
The right candidate for this Director of Corporate Accounting & Transformation will have:
CPA designation
9-11+ years of accounting experience - including both corporate accounting and public accounting (Big 4 / global firm audit)
Experience in multi-ERP environments and corporate accounting
Expertise using and implementing SAP, as well as experience leading finance transformation initiatives
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
Strong leadership experience
Preference given to those with IPO readiness or public company experience
