Staff Product Manager, Core Experiences
Themis Solutions, California, MO, United States
Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely. We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.
Summary:
As the Staff Product Manager for the Core Experiences team at Clio, you will lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the shared product experiences that span Clio's entire suite — the navigation, search, and cross-product interactions that every Clio customer touches every day. This is a newly created role on a newly formed team, which means you''ll have the rare opportunity to shape what "Core Experiences" means at Clio from the ground up. Your north star is simple: make it dramatically easier and faster for legal professionals to find what they need and get their work done, regardless of which Clio product they''re in. Cross-Product Experience Strategy
Develop and execute a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Clio's shared experiences: including global navigation, global search, and the connective tissue between Manage, Grow, Draft, and other Clio products. Define what great looks like for a unified Clio experience, and build the case for prioritization across stakeholders and product teams. Use customer research, efficiency metrics, and satisfaction data to identify the highest-impact opportunities, and then go build them. Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, designers, and go-to-market partners to deliver experiences that feel cohesive and effortless to users. Product Development and Lifecycle Management
Own the full product lifecycle, from discovery and roadmap through launch and iteration for shared user-facing experiences. Partner closely with engineering and design to set a high bar for quality, and establish the processes that help the team deliver consistently. Instrument and monitor key metrics, efficiency, satisfaction, engagement and use them to continuously raise the bar on the experiences you own. Stakeholder Engagement
Build deep context across Clio's product portfolio by partnering with every product team you''ll need to understand what exists, what''s coming, and how it all fits together before you can unify it. Communicate product direction clearly and compellingly to audiences ranging from engineers and designers to senior leadership and the C-suite. Be the voice of the customer in every room you''re in, bringing insights from research, support, and data to every product conversation. What you bring
7+ years in product management at a consumer or B2B SaaS company, with a track record of owning user-facing product experiences end-to-end. A strong design sensibility, you can identify a great user experience and articulate exactly why it works (or doesn''t). Experience working cross-functionally in complex, multi-product environments, and an ability to build trust and alignment across teams quickly. An exceptional ability to distill complexity, you can take something deeply technical or nuanced and tell a clear, compelling story about it to any audience. A bias toward action and sound judgment under ambiguity, you make decisions with imperfect information and adjust as you learn. Some startup experience, you''re comfortable in environments where the path isn''t always paved, and you know how to move fast without breaking things. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to present confidently to senior leadership. Bonus points if you have
Prior experience in legal tech or a strong understanding of how legal professionals work. Familiarity with AI-powered search or navigation experiences What you will find here
