
Landscape Designer

Base Compensation Range: $60,000 - $70,000
GRWA is a growing land planning, ecological consulting, and landscape architecture firm in business since 1982. We are dedicated to making a positive impact on our clients’ land use decisions. GRWA seeks a full-time landscape designer who can provide design support to our project management team through hand rendering, AutoCAD, Photoshop and 3D graphic production.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS OF A LANDSCAPE DESIGNER
Performs landscape design and land planning assignments.
Proficient in design and AutoCAD drafting of plans, working drawings and graphics.
Accurately calculates areas, densities and quantities.
Coordinates with design team and other consultants.
Performs landscape site evaluations and installation verifications.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a landscape design/architecture related field or equivalent experience.
Entry level to five years of experience in landscape design, hardscaping, and/or horticulture.
Experience in creative design-based roles.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD LT, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
Knowledge of presentation graphics and design/rendering software such as SketchUp or Lumion is helpful.
Fundamental knowledge of local plants.
Working towards professional licensure.
