Position Overview Position Schedule: Full-Time.

Team Overview The Edward Jones Generations® team provides an end‑to‑end, high‑net‑worth client experience, partnering with branch teams to deliver financial planning, tax and estate planning services, and investment solutions. The Portfolio Strategy team works with advisors and clients to design and implement customized investment strategies that align with clients' goals.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with and support branch teams as a Home Office investment specialist to deliver high‑quality Advice, Planning, Products, and Services (APPS) that meet our clients’ wealth management needs.

In coordination with Senior Portfolio Strategists and Senior Planners, provide the right level of support across the client journey, including tailored investment advice, portfolio analysis, construction, and implementation.

Support senior members of the Portfolio Strategy Team, Financial Advisors, and clients with basic to intermediate investment portfolio scenarios to enable personalized, tax‑efficient, and robust portfolio construction and transition advice, in alignment with firm guidance.

Coordinate and/or contribute to consultations and content that meet high‑net‑worth clients’ objectives, risk profiles, account mandates, and personal preferences.

Work in partnership with WMFM or HNW internal stakeholder groups to explore opportunities to enhance workflow processes and strengthen partnership dynamics.

Assist branch team and client interactions by identifying resources to achieve the right results.

Build and maintain an understanding of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes, and assess how these themes impact product offerings and the implementation of firm advice.

This position is known internally as an Associate Portfolio Consultant.

Employment & Compensation Hiring Minimum:

$86,300 Hiring Maximum:

$146,700

Location & Work Arrangement Hybrid model: candidates within commutable distance to Tempe, AZ or St. Louis, MO will work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026 (three days per week before that). Remote/hybrid status may be retained if selected, subject to future business or regulatory needs.

Skills / Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.

FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required within six months of hire.

Intent to obtain or progress toward Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Three years of experience in financial services or related field; 1‑2 years of portfolio management, portfolio analysis, or investment consultation preferred but not required.

Technical aptitude, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Subject matter expertise on economic, investment, and portfolio management strategies and concepts.

Skills in systems thinking, planning and organizing, relationship building, collaboration, project management.

Solid written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to provide concise, relevant commentary.

What Could Set You Apart

Series 7, 66, 24 licenses.

CFA designation or progress toward it.

Master’s degree.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases and wealth management software (e.g., Aladdin Wealth, Morningstar, FactSet).

Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI.

Residency within commutable distance of Tempe, AZ or St. Louis, MO.
