Job Description Summary Serves as the GE Vernova Electrification Systems segment (GEV ELEC) central point of contact supporting the value proposition for the entire segment portfolio (Grid Systems Integration, Power Transmission, Prolec, Grid Automation & Software, and Power Conversion and Storage) for both equipment and services. Responsibilities include maintaining a deep understanding of the customer’s culture, needs, business objectives & strategy, leading all aspects of account management, promotion & selling of solutions, and ensuring a single GEV face to the customer to increase shareholder value. Preferred location: Chicago, IL. Responsibilities Own the Customer Relationship from the C-suite down and ensure executive sponsorship is valued by both organizations. Own, drive and maintain a holistic 3+ year account strategy and plan aligning GEV’s business priorities with the customer’s long-term strategic plan. Represent the entire ELEC and GEV portfolio and support collaboration across ELEC and GEV Business Lines for multi‑BL solutions. Coordinate with ELEC BL Sales, Services, Execution and functional teams, as well as other GEV Business Units and Key Account Executives as appropriate. Act as a central point of contact that facilitates and advocates for both GEV and the customer, developing a relationship mapping process between GEV leaders and the customer’s counterparts. Collaborate with Strategic Account Executive from EDGE to increase penetration and strategy development across GEV, co‑sell with sales counterparts from Gas and Wind Power, and engage with new generation Reservation Agreements. Understand competitor offerings and develop counter‑strategies to increase share of wallet and win rates. Leverage standard work, operational data, and metrics to monitor relationship health, satisfaction (NPS), alignment with priorities, and overall growth and profitability of the account. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college. Minimum 8 years of additional experience in direct sales/commercial, marketing, account management, or a supplier‑facing role. Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy, T&D, power generation, and/or renewables industry. Proximity to the Customer Center of Competence or willingness to relocate. Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time. Desired Demonstrated success developing and maintaining GE cross‑business relationships at multiple levels. Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining C‑suite level customer relationships. Experience leading cross‑functional teams. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the energy industry. Experience as a lead account manager or leading an account team for key customers with broad product portfolios. Strong interpersonal, written, presentation, and communication skills across all business levels. Preferred candidate to be near a major airport (less than 1 hour travel). Strong financial management skills with knowledge of utility economics and competitive landscape. Experience navigating GEV Business areas to align GEV Vision with Customer Strategy. Advanced Degree. For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $151,400.00 and $252,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
