Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Director of Business Development to grow our partnership base within the post-acute care sector. This role focuses and thrives on building and nurturing long-term relationships with post-acute healthcare facilities to develop true partnerships and expand our business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a passion for healthcare, and a proven track record in sales and relationship management within the post-acute care landscape.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to establish and grow partnerships within the post-acute care sector.
Identify and engage potential partners, understanding their needs and aligning them with our solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services to partners.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Achieve and exceed business development targets and key performance indicators.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in healthcare sales, with a strong understanding of the post-acute care landscape.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Skill to develop and manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation through contract execution.
Capability to present and position contract therapy solutions tailored to each facility’s clinical, operational, and financial needs.
Capacity to collaborate with operations and clinical leadership to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Expertise to represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Preferred Skills Experience selling contract therapy, MDS services, or related healthcare solutions!
Existing network and relationships within healthcare or post-acute care sector, preferably Skilled Nursing Facilities, regional chains, or ownership groups
Understanding of healthcare compliance and regulations
Strong understanding of SNF operations, therapy contracts, and post-acute reimbursement
Proven ability to close deals and build long-term client relationships.
Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
