Dealer Account Manager – Remote (on the road)
The Dealer Account Manager is a challenging, dynamic field role focused on educating and training dealer partners while sourcing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will manage a dealer base, consult on all sales activities, and maintain product and service quality. Travel is required within a local market and the role is full‑time with full‑time benefits.

What You’ll Do as Our Dealer Account Manager
Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company products and services to all levels of management within independent and franchise dealerships.
Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
Follow‑up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with current and potential dealer partners.
Communicate regularly via phone and in‑person visits to train dealers on current programs and fast‑funding requirements.
Provide vehicle‑loan solutions, rehash and restructure vehicle loans for profitable approval.
Assist with sales‑contract preparation by educating dealers on verification requirements.
Maintain sales materials and stay current on financial‑product knowledge.
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for independent and franchise dealers.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in automotive, finance, and sales (required).
1‑2 years of prior sales experience with a proven track record of success.
College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Strong presentation skills from initial creation to delivery.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
Goal‑oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
Ability to work amicably with diverse teams.
Experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL is beneficial.
Outside‑sales experience is preferred.
Significant local travel required; possession of a valid state driver’s license is necessary.

Pay Plan
Target first‑year income: $60,000 – $130,000
Self‑determined, performance‑based compensation package.
First‑year guaranteed minimum income ($5,000 monthly + performance commissions) and thereafter a $1,000 monthly base plus commissions.
Average earnings after one year: $160,000
Top 25% reps: $245,000
Top 50 reps: $305,000
Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement average: $450
No commission limits.
