Digital Marketing Account Manager (Client-Facing Role)
Sagapixel, Cherry Hill, NJ, United States
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ (Hybrid / In-Office)
Type: Full-Time
Additional Compensation: After 12 months of managing an account, account managers receive a percentage of that client’s monthly retainer as a retention bonus
Sagapixel is a rapidly growing healthcare-focused digital marketing agency in Cherry Hill. We pride ourselves on delivering measurable results, not just completing tasks, backed by a team that values clear communication, accountability, and continuous learning.
We’re looking for an Account Manager who is a proactive problem-solver with strong marketing and SEO awareness. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for clients and will manage the execution of their marketing strategies.
Your job is to ensure work is executed correctly, on time, and aligned with client goals, while helping clients understand the strategy behind our work.
This is not a pure project management role. You will be expected to understand SEO strategy, evaluate work, and confidently communicate what we’re doing and why.
Key Responsibilities
Own the client relationship and lead monthly/quarterly calls
Manage projects and assign tasks across content, web, and SEO teams, ensuring work aligns with strategy and client goals
Review and QA SEO-driven content and landing pages to ensure they align with strategy, user intent, and ranking goals
Ensure client budgets are met, and work stays aligned with client goals
Communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams
Identify potential roadblocks and offer solutions, not just escalations
Understand SEO strategy at a practical level, including what drives rankings, and proactively identify issues or gaps in execution
Note: You won’t be expected to design websites or write content yourself, but you should know enough to evaluate quality and spot issues before they reach the client.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of digital marketing experience (agency experience a plus)
Account management or project management experience preferred
Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, including what drives rankings (content quality, search intent, internal linking, site structure, etc.)
Obsessive organization and follow-through
Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills
Bonus: You have hands‑on experience with SEO or content and are comfortable evaluating work, not just coordinating it
A desire to learn and grow. No “that’s not my department” mindset
Team player who takes ownership and collaborates effectively
This role is not a fit for someone looking to purely coordinate projects without understanding the underlying strategy.
Full-time, Monday–Friday
Time tracking is required (minimum ~6.5 hours/day of client work)
You’ll receive feedback often and are expected to apply it
