HubSpot Email Marketing Specialist Location: Austin, TX Duration: 5 Months Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 am - 12pm CT (must be flexible to work any additional hours based on business needs). Interview: Virtual - 2 rounds. We are seeking a detail-oriented HubSpot Email Specialist to join our team for a 20-week maternity cover. This is a "Quality Gatekeeper" role: while our marketing team builds the campaign assets, you will be responsible for the final technical review, compliance check, and approval of all outgoing emails. Your goal is to ensure every send meets high deliverability standards, brand consistency, and HubSpot best practices. Key Responsibilities Review and approve all emails built by the marketing team. Check for mobile responsiveness, dark mode optimization, link accuracy, and personalization token functionality. Ensure all campaigns are correctly set up within HubSpot Marketing Hub, including proper subscription type selection and tracking parameters. Monitor sender reputation and ensure all outgoing mail complies with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL regulations. Setup and test automated nurture sequences and triggers to ensure logic is sound and lead hand-offs are functioning correctly. Provide feedback to the marketing team on subject lines, A/B test setups, and segmentation to improve open and click-through rates. Required Qualifications 2-3 years of hands-on HubSpot experience : Deep familiarity with the Marketing Hub is non-negotiable. A "pro-editor" eye for detail. You should be the person who catches the broken link or the misaligned image that everyone else missed. Understanding of SPF/DKIM records, bounce management, and engagement-based filtering. Ability to manage a steady queue of "Approval Requests" from multiple team members and maintain a 48-hour turnaround time. Preferred Skills Experience with Litmus or Email on Acid for cross-client testing. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for troubleshooting "wonky" HubSpot templates.
