Role Description: The Marketing Specialist Messaging Platform III will join the Marketing Cloud team to design, build, and optimize highly scalable customer journeys that support engagement across multiple channels. This role focuses heavily on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) particularly Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Data Extensions, and complex workflow orchestration. The ideal candidate has deep, hands-on technical expertise in Marketing Cloud Engagement, strong proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS, and experience supporting enterprise level implementations. Responsibilities: Architect and implement multi-step, cross channel customer journeys using Journey Builder, including complex pathing, event-triggered logic, and audience targeting. Build and manage Data Extensions, ensuring proper data relationships, keys, retention settings, and governance. Leverage Automation Studio to orchestrate sophisticated automations, including SQL Query Activities, data imports, file transfers, and triggered sends. Use Contact Builder to design and optimize data model relationships, attribute groups, and contact configuration for scalable journey execution. Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize AMPscript and SSJS for personalization, dynamic content, and advanced message logic. Maintain data quality and integrity across the Marketing Cloud environment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of customer data used for segmentation. Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions within Marketing Cloud. Support integrations across the Marketing Cloud stack, including API triggers, data pipelines, and platform to platform connections. Contribute to performance tuning, platform hygiene, and Marketing Cloud best practices. Provide guidance on governance, naming conventions, version control, and reusable assets to enable long term scalability. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands on experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in an enterprise environment.
