Astoria, NY . This is a
full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity
for candidates who enjoy working directly with customers in a hands-on, sales-oriented environment.
No prior experience is required -personality and attitude matter most! Summary
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional on-site customer support, assist customers with their needs, and actively support sales efforts. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn products and services, and the ability to build rapport with customers. Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their needs Provide clear and knowledgeable information about products and services Sales Support
Promote and sell products on-site Work toward meeting or exceeding sales goals using effective sales techniques Product Demonstration
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations Explain features and benefits while addressing customer questions Relationship Building
Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction Inventory Management
Help maintain organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing product displays Sales Reporting
Accurately record sales transactions and customer interactions Assist with sales performance reporting as needed Team Collaboration
Work closely with team members to support customer service and sales efforts Qualifications Previous retail sales or customer service experience is
preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable engaging with a diverse customer base Basic understanding of sales principles Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays Experience with POS systems and cash handling is a plus Friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to
30 lbs Education High school diploma or equivalent required Additional education in marketing or related fields is a plus Position Details Pay:
