The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth in the small business market, with a focus on high-volume deal closure. The ideal candidate will act as an entrepreneur, building and maintaining a network of contacts to generate leads and referrals. A consultative sales approach is essential, as is the ability to engage with business owners and key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. The role also involves strategic use of the company's resources, innovative marketing campaigns, and collaboration with experts across various specialties to enhance market presence and serve clients effectively.
Candidates for this position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 1 year of related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing, or a combination of a Bachelor's degree, participation in the company's Sales Internship Program, and insurance licensing, or a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience. Professional designations such as CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM may be preferred.
