Job Summary Eastern Security Services are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Security Sales Representative to help grow our customer base and expand existing accounts. In this role, you’ll identify client needs, recommend tailored security solutions, and guide prospects from first conversation through close. If you’re comfortable selling complex solutions and enjoy building long-term trust, this role is for you.
Salary Range Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and referrals
Meet with customers to understand their security needs and do a complete on-site survey
Act as a consultant - design a security or fire solution that meets a customer’s needs -the objective is to listen and understand what they are looking for, design and then deliver to meet their expectations.
Keep up with the latest security technology to assist in providing a solution for various security requests
Work with our existing customer base in upgrading them to the latest technology to allow for more company RMR and other security offerings that can drive up sales
Present and demonstrate security solutions tailored to client requirements
Learn to handle objections
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline
Prepare proposals, pricing, close deals and continue building relationships
Collaborate with our technical team to ensure accurate solutions and smooth handoffs
Maintain relationships with existing customers to drive renewals, upsells, and cross-sells
Stay current on security trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations
Qualifications
3+ years in sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role supporting enterprise or commercial accounts.
Experience in the physical security industry, i.e. alarm systems, access control, video, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles from discovery through contract closure.
Collaborative team player with the ability to work with cross-functionally with sales, operations, and project management teams.
Successfully clear drug screen and background check to meet industry requirements
